Is your choice of indigo based on this stuff?

I guess the only way I can chose is if I explain a little about myself.
I have a minor split personality, and so different facets of myself show at different times. Thus why I picked four of your insos:
Red and Orange I would associate with my 'deviant' half, or my Alter.
Pink and Blue would be more of the 'me' half.
As for the idea of auras, I have this as part of my own religion, but our colours differ somewhat, but not entirely. I guess the main differences I can see, from my single read-over of your insos, would be your purple and green, and the lack of inclusion of white and black.
I can go into further detail if you want me to, but right now I'm rather lazy so I don't want to write it out if you aren't interested, y'know? _________________ The Translation Bank, a wiki resource for conlangers to test their language's abilities:

White and black are merely constituents of the other colours, moving them up or down the brightness scale. The closer to black you are the more outgoing, individualistic you are. You are more likely to succeed in business and competition, but are likely to get on people's nerves. You don't really care much about other people.
White being the opposite. You are really intuitive, and people are drawn to you. You are rather humble, and are unlikely to pursue things that will result purely in monetary gain. You are social, but like time to yourself as well. A quiet type, filled with passion that burns for living.
Part of my general psychosis is a constant hallucination, in which I can see these colours around people. My reason for incorporating this idea into my belief system is thusly... biased?
I described the colours and shades by the people I have noticed to have them. Some day I hope they'll get my anti-psychotics mixed right and it'll go away. But until then I've tried to find meaning in it.
So... yeah. You can see why this idea would intrigue me. By my 'system' I am both blue and greeny-orange, my alter and myself respectively.
The meanings to those colours are much less thought out and explainable than yours, as I'm not sure that they truly have a purpose, and that my brain isn't just assigning random colours to people and things.
Yeah. >.> That was probably TMI... but I think I was clear?

| ...that sounds like textbook projector-type synesthesia. Have you ever tried a test? Do you experience these colors in anything besides people? |

Erm... I'm not sure what that is, so no, I've never tried a test.
Yes, I see it on objects too, but not nearly as strong.
Imma go google that now, see what it's all about~
[E] Oh. Yes, it does sound like that. I've never experienced words/letter or numbers having distinct colours, but instead whole objects. A piece of paper has a faint brown glow to it, a tree has a bit of purple. People seem to be dictated by their personalities, and things they touch can be 'tainted' by their colour. _________________ The Translation Bank, a wiki resource for conlangers to test their language's abilities:

I would be a Red in your system except for the last part since I'm heterosexual. _________________ My current language project Relosc [Zhadeo] |

| Hmm, I'd be Orange with some Green mixed in. Oddly enough those are 2 of my preferred colours. |

| Blue with speckles of everything except yellow and green. I'm not mainstream, and I don't go along with "culture", but I don't like gross things and I don't try to not go along with culture. |

| I think I'll be blue with bit of red and... uh, which color is connected with extreme laziness and unpredictable bursts of energy? I have lots of it. |

I would be a mixture of pink, orange and yellow. Which is dominant depends on the moment.

All right, I've updated the descriptions with each inso's associated stone, fruit, bird, mammal, insect and aquatic animal. _________________ My Kankonian-English dictionary: 22,464 entries and counting |
