But I think the first three have the most resemblance. The second three literally mean "own-made language/script/world" which is proper Dutch and would suit just as well. |

Your Dutch is very good and so you make mistakes :p eigengemaakte should be zelfgemaakte (which means selfmade)
conlanguage = kunsttaal = zelfgemaakte taal(de)
conscript = kunsttschrift = zelfgemaakt schrift (het)
conworld/fantasy world = kunstwereld/fantasiewereld = zelfgemaakte wereld (de)

Kunsttaal is de officiële benaming, samen met kunstschrift etc.

ik zou inderdaad gaan voor kunsttaal, aangezien gecontaal en dergelijke idioot klinken. (Overigens is een wereld zelfbedacht, niet zelfgemaakt, of je moet in staat zijn planeten te creëren.)
Ik zelf zou trouwens gewoon conlang gebruiken. Of gaat het om het gebruik door niet conlangers?
I would go with kunsttaal, because gecontaal sounds stupid. (By the way, a world is zelfbedacht, not zelfgemaakt, unless you're able to create planets.)
I would just use conlang. Or are we talking about the use by non-conlangers?

Het probleem met het woord 'kunsttaal' is dat dit ook vertaald kan worden als 'artlang', wat dan weer een deelbetekenis is van 'conlang'. Ik maak wel conlangs, maar geen artlangs...

om beetje het
kunstmatige intelligentie 'idee' door te trekken.
Ik krijg zelf ook het idee dat art niet per se 'art' hoeft te zijn maar wellicht ook verwijzing kan hebben naar 'artificial'.
Hoe dan ook, het maakt toch niet echt uit... het is niet alsof men in Nederland vaak heeft over conlangs, laat staan dat Nederlanders niet het engelse termpje gewoon gebruiken: conlang. |

het ging er juist om een korte versie van gecontrueerde taal / kunstmatige taal te maken.
Idd, artlang zou ook kunnen verwijzen naar artificial lang, maar dat weet ik niet zeker.
Al met al, conlangers zeggen gewoon conlang, leken die het over conlangs hebben zijn waarschijnlijk journalisten, die zijn gewend lange officiele benamingen te gebruiken.
